And We're Off..

The past few weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind. Here is just a glimpse into what God has been doing in and through our family..

Hope Ignited

We are officially a part of Hope Ignited!! We are now in the season of sharing and inviting others into the story God is writing. We've started support raising within our church and local community. It has been incredibly sweet to see how people lean in, ask questions and encourage us.

Kids at Trailer

At home, the kids are very aware that "something big" is happening. There have been lots of questions and excitement. They have been right there with us through preparing for our garage sale and it has been so special to watch them begin to understand, in their own ways, that we're doing this together as a family.

May 1st was a big day - Heath's last day of work. Many tears were shed as goodbyes were shared. We laughed and cried as we reminisced on the last 5 years together. God is doing amazing things through this team at Garden City Walmart Neighborhood Market Pharmacy.

"Thank you Austin, Justin, Lesley, Fabiola, Daisy, James, Bella and Jen. God bless the road ahead of you; the team dynamics, the patient interactions and the new and exciting things yet to come!!! I will treasure you all in my heart forever." - Heath

Pharmacy Team

This past weekend we had an enormous garage sale! It honestly felt like a big gathering space for so many people who love us. Friends and family showed up in huge ways - helping us sort, organize, set up and haul tables and run things from start to finish.

Garage Sale

But ultimately, God showed up!! In conversations. In unexpected generosity. This wasn't just about selling our stuff, through this, God reminded us that we are not going alone. We are so incredibly grateful for this weekend, especially for the people who surrounded us so tangibly.

As we reflect on all that God has done and is doing in our lives, Psalms 16:7-8 says..

"I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken."

Right now, things are moving so fast. There will be more conversations, more trusting, more letting go, more stepping forward. Through all of it, we MUST keep our eyes on Jesus in every moment. He is our steady peace that keeps showing up right when we need Him.

Thank you for being part of this with us - whether you helped carry a box, baked a goodie, stopped by the sale, prayed for us, or simply continue to follow along. It means more than we can fully put into words.

We're taking this one step at a time.. together.
